Retired but Active Standard Competition Rules

These competition rules bind anyone entering any competition operated by Retired but Active and to sponsors on any website owned or controlled by Retired but Active.

Open to.
Entry to content competitions is open to everyone over the age of 50 who has registered as a member with the Retired and Active.
Membership is free.
Entry to sponsoring competitions is open to any organisation or company whose business ethics are consistent with those of Retired but Active.
Retired but Active is the sole judge of the suitability of any competitor and there is no appeal.
Content
All materials must be consistent with the Retired but Active's Editorial Code and under the terms of the Retired but Active's Terms of Use
The content must broadly match the title given for the competition an be in English.
The judges may either remove offending materials and links, or ignore the entry completely.


Methods of Submission.
All entries must submitted on Retired but Active standard form and received by 12:00 noon (BST) on the published closing date.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed or damaged.
Judging and Declaration of the winners
The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winners will be formally notified (by email or post) within 21 days of the closing date.
Competition winners may be required to take part in or co-operate with publicity.
Use of false name or address, eg name by which the entrant is not usually known, will disqualify them from receiving any prize.
We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time.
Entry in the competition implies acceptance of these rules.
